About the Shop

The idea for Brad Cameron’s Bridle Horse Shop was to combine his leathercraft talent, and his knowledge in horsemanship together as one. Brad started the art of leathercraft as a  boy with a Tandy starter kit and eventually went on to learn saddlemaking. It was during that time, while in the midst of a promising start as a young saddlemaker, that he became a student of Buck Brannaman. As a result Brad ended up pursuing a different career as an equine clinician.

After 21 years Brad retired from the road in 2015, and re-opened as The Bridle Horse Shop. Specifically catering to the bridle horse interest. The Bridle Horse Shop is not a saddle shop, as Brad chooses to specialize in high quality, handmade strap goods. Regardless of the project, Brad keeps a constant creative flow in his shop that results in many unique inventory items. He also enjoys taking time to work with his many clients on particular ideas for their custom designs as well. Brad is always reaching back to the classics to get inspiration and ideas for gear that is as functional as it is beautiful, and of lasting heirloom quality.

Whether the project is plain and simple or highly elaborate, great pride is built into each piece of gear that Brad makes. Quality, pride, and fine craftsmanship are what The Bridle Horse Shop is all about.
