This fine piece is a replica of a breast collar that was traced back to the 1920's here in Montana. This is made of heavy, dark brown bridle leather. The sterling overlay conchos and buckles have been heavily antiqued here in the shop. The antiquing really lends itself well to the period look that this breast collar deserves. Set off by nickel silver spots, this one is really an eye catcher!

The Legacy of Legends commissioned me to make a batch of these special 3/4"

headstalls for the 2017 event. All of the headstalls had different quotes from Ray Hunt that were laser engraved into the browband linings. A very nice project to work on.

A buckaroo favorite! Roughout martingale with Clint Mortenson conchos. Made of Hermann Oak skirting leather to stand the test of time.

This 5/8" browband headstall was made for the 2016 Legacy of Legends in Fort Worth, Texas. It is made with heavy bridle leather, doubled and stitched with sweat resistant lining leather. Edges are hand dyed, and hand rubbed with our unique edging compound. Mincer hardware tops it off for a beautiful piece that will last for years.

Here is a nice set of saddlebags that were done to match a customer's saddle. Made of Hermann Oak leather with a deep set basketstamp.

Here is a very pretty custom headstall that went to an AQHA world show competitor. Sterling silver bit hangers, with a single sterling buckle set at the top of the crown. 13 small silver conchos adorn this outfit with a unique spot pattern. Sliding ear piece to match, ties it all in nicely.

I worked with the customer on the design of this unique headstall. Sterling silver graduating conchos, buckle sets and hearts. I did a full run of spots on heavy bridle leather to accent everything.

A beautiful Garcia replica that has it all! Sterling silver overlay hardware on a 3/4" split ear. Big 2 3/4" concho buckles, 1" card suits, butterflys, cocoons, sterling silver spots, and snake head bit hangers. The snake heads themselves have ruby eyes. Lots of detail on these fabulous, one of a kind headstalls. Nothing says "Great Basin" like this one!

These two beautiful Garcia replicas were made for the silversmith Clint Mortenson. Clint made all the silver for these and asked me to make them up for him. It was quite a privilege to build these for him!

A beautiful pair of custom flower stamped slobber straps that I did to go with one of my silver headstalls.

A 5/8” browband headstall.  I used ¾” berry conchos at the bit with large berries running up the cheekpiece. Add  1 ¾” concho buckle sets, and a set of 2” conchos at the browband and you’ve got a headstall that will really get noticed. Three piece buckle set on the throatlatch too, all with berry edges.This one is bold!

This one is a 3/4” headstall with one buckle on the left, and ear arrow on off side. Antique silver plate gives this one that old time look. The silver beads on the buckle and conchos will make this headstall really stand out on your horse!
